Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development, Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 1508 Vacancy on Contractual basis under the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam. These posts are created under various Govt. of India's flagship programmes like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gram (PMAY-G), and Finance Commission Grants.

PNRD Assam Recruitment Details
1. Accredited Engineer
No of posts: 291 posts, under MGNREGA
Monthly Remuneration: ₹18,000/-
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with Diploma in Computer Application. Candidates should be well versed in Mobile Applications.
2. Gram Rozgar Sahayak
No of posts: 464 posts, under MGNREGA
Monthly Remuneration: ₹15,000/-
Educational Qualification:
# Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or institution with minimum 50% marks. Distance Education (Degree) approved by DEC/UGC/AICTE is valid
# Must possess Diploma in Computer Application with minimum 6 months duration.
# Candidates should be well versed in Mobile Applications.
3. Computer Assistant
No of posts: 291 posts, under MGNREGA
Monthly Remuneration: ₹15,000/-
Educational Qualification:

Age Limit
Age of the candidates for all these four (4) posts must be between 18 to 40 years .

Language Skills

3. Certificate of qualifying examination as per applicable case.
4. Recent Passport Size Photograph.

Selection Process
The
candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear
in a written Examination which will be conducted in the various selected
centres in the state. The Commissioner, P&RD will intimate the name
of centre in the Admission Certificate of the Written Examination.
Written Exam:
There will be two written examinations.
- Paper 1: For the posts of Gaon Panchayat Coordinator/Computer Assistant/ Gram Rojgar Sahayak.
- Paper 2: For the post of Accredited Engineer.
1. A
candidate may apply separately for the written examinations for Paper-1
and Paper-2, provided that he or she should fulfill the eligibility
criteria.
2. Candidates are required to submit their preference for the posts of
Gaon Panchayat Coordinator, Computer Assistant, or Gram Rojgar Sahayak
for selection under the Paper-1 Examination.
Exam Centre: As per permanent address, the examination center will be provided the exam conducting authority.

Maximum Marks: The
written test will be of 75 marks and will be completely OMR based.
There will be 75 questions and each question will be of 1(one) mark.
Negative Marking: There is negative marking, of 0.25 mark per question carrying 1 mark each and of 0.5 mark per question carrying 2 marks each, for wrong answer as well as for selecting more than one option of a question.

Syllabus: The questions will be set in five parts as mentioned below:
(i) Domain Knowledge(ii) Computer proficiency(iii) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension(iv) History and Culture of Assam and India and(v) General Knowledge.
In
addition for the post of Accredited Engineer, there will be questions
relating to technical knowledge as per the qualification. Candidates
will use black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet. Duration
of the test will be of 2(two) hours.
Viva: There will be a Viva of 25 Marks for candidates who are qualified in the written examination.
