CTET 2018: Latest Update for Central Teacher Eligibility Test Aspirants

Candidates preparing to register themselves for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will have to wait further as CTET 2018 Registration Process has been delayed. According to the official website, the CBSE cited that delay in the process has taken place due to ‘Administrative Reasons’. The online registration for CTET 2018 was scheduled to begin on Friday, June 22. However, the Board released an official notification stating, ‘Submission of online application form for CTET-2018 is delayed due to administrative reasons.’ The notification further read, ‘Next date will be notified shortly. Candidates may visit CTET website regularly for updates.’

The Board is scheduled to organise the 11th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET 2018 Examination on Sunday, September 16 2018 for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class 1 to 8. The examination will be divided in two slots viz Paper-II (from 9:30 AM to 12 PM) and Paper-I (from 2 PM to 4:30 PM). The CTET 2018 registration will be online on CTET official website, www.ctet.nic.in.

As of now, there has been no update if the change in the date of the CTET 2018 Registration Process will impact the CTET 2018 Exam dates.

c) Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs. 

d) For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

Online application for Admission into the Govt. ITI's of Assam for NCVT / CoE / trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC (SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITI's on payment of higher fees by candidates) under Craftsmen Training scheme for the session commencing from August' 2018 are invited from permanent residence of Assam.

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED IN THE ENTIRE e Counseling process:

1. To participate in the e counselling the candidate shall fill all his particulars on the counseling website www.itiassam.nic.in under the option New Registration.
2. After filling all the correct information, the candidate will take the printout of his filled particulars. The candidate has to remember password filled during registration.
3. To correct information (if any), the candidate has to login by using Roll no printed on the printout and password. For correction the candidate will use edit Registration Module.
4. After taking the printout, candidate shall have to visit the nearest Govt. ITI for verification of his documents with the particulars filled during registration, as per scheduled dates on all working days during office hours.
5. The candidates who have applied for the trade for entry qualification of class VIII pass trades shall produce the certificate in format-I along with mark sheet, while verification of their documents.
6. For 10th pass entry qualification they will produce HSLC pass documents & mark sheets at the time of verification.
7. The candidates of CBSE courses are to fill their marks of each subject by converting from CGPA (multiplying by 9.5).
8. No grade is allowed to put in marks table.
9. The candidate will be eligible for filling his choices only after verification by the Govt. ITI.
10. The registration is one time process & it will be valid throughout the online counselling.
11. The candidate will then check his/her rank (Merit position) on his page, when announced in the portal.
12. For filling the choices the candidate has to login again by using Roll No. Printed on the printout & password during the period in which the choice filling is allowed. On successful login, the following option will be available to the candidate:
a. Edit Registration: In case a candidate has entered any information by mistake, he can edit his entered information by “Edit Registration” option, before verification.
b. Available Choices: The candidate will be provided with list of institutes & courses (NCVT, SCVT and SCVT under IMC on payment of higher course fee) separately.
c. Fill Choices: The candidate can fill the institute & courses of his choice provided in the list in order of preference.
d. Display filled Choices: Choices entered by the candidate will be displayed on different format so that the candidate can check the already entered information.
e. Change Password: Candidate can Change his/her password using the option.
f. Allotment letter: Candidate can generate allotment letter before reporting for admission to an allotted institute.
13. The candidate has to fill his choices & save his choice within the stipulated time period as declared by the DE&CT Assam in counselling schedule.
14. Allotment of seat: After the choice filling is over, all filled choices of all registered candidates will be considered for allotment of seats as per merit (Rank) & category of the candidate. The allotment of seat is purely provisional.
15. If a seat is allotted, the candidate has to take printout of his allotment letter & visit the allotted Govt. ITI for accepting the admission.
16. If no seat is allotted, then the candidate has to participate in the next counselling by filling his choices again.
17. If a candidate is allotted a seat and doesn’t take admission, then his candidature will be forfeited for the entire admission process.
18. If a candidate is allotted a seat and he/she doesn’t wish to freeze his/her seat at the time of admission in ITI, for up-gradation to get a better choice of course or institute, the candidature will be auto-upgraded as per the candidate’s Choice Filling already done by him/her. After getting the up-graded seat, the candidate must join in the newly allotted seat and the previously admitted seat will be
automatically cancelled. In that case the candidate’s admission fees will be refunded after completion of the whole admission process.

X] Person with Disability [PWD/PH] Quota :

The reservation against the Person with Disabilities (PWD) is not a separate reservation over and above other reservation. If the disabled candidate belongs to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/ MOBC or General Category, he/she shall be adjusted against the category to which he/she belongs.

2. If a candidate is absent on the day of counselling, he/she will not be considered in the subsequent counselling (if any) under any circumstances.

3. The candidates shall be required to fill up a form at the time of counselling indicating the choica of institution and branch along with the option for transfer on the date of counselling.

4. Reporting for Final Admission : The selected candidates have to report on 17th July, 2018 in the allotted college with the allotment letter which will be issued on the day of counselling . original documents and the requisite fee for final admission. If a selected candidate fails to take admission on the given day & time, he/she will forfeit his/ her seat automatically. No further claim will be entertained later.

5. Transfer will be considered on 21st July, 2018 strictly on the basis of merit, caste/ category subject to availability of seats as per the choice filled up by the candidate at the time of Counselling. Once a candidate is transferred to another institute. he/she must take admission in that institute on the day to be notified with the transfer order. otherwise he/she will forfeit both the seats automatically. No further claim will be entertained in any of the seats later.

XV] All candidates shall have to pay Rs.600/- (Rupees Six hundred) only in cash as counselling charge at the time of counselling.

DHS Assam Notice 2018 : Document Verification for Night Chowkidar, Ward Boy and Ward Girl

In continuation of the earlier Notice No.HSE/APPTT./52/ 2018/3936, dated 17.05.2018. published in the DHS, Assam office website www.dhs.assam.gov.in. this is for information of all concerned that few posts of Night Chowkidar, Ward Boy and Ward Girl, which were kept vacant until further notice due to tie of marks secured by candidates are now available to be filled up by the candidates whose marks were tied.

This is due to the availability of vacancies among the advertised posts due to non-appearance of some candidates for verification of documents at the notice dates.

Further, 6 (six) posts (3 posts of Ward Boy and 3 posts of Ward Girl) have fallen vacant in PH (Physically handicapped) in person with disability Category due to disqualification of candidates selected for verification of documents under that Category.
