1. The qualification prescribed shall be from a recognized University/Institute as a full time, regular course in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST candidates for the trades reserved for them).
2. Candidates having professional/higher qualification such as Degree in Engineering/MBA & its equivalent/PGDM/MCA/LLB/CA/ICWA/Masters in Social Work/Degree in Journalism etc. and any other Graduate and above professional qualification, shall not be eligible to apply for the above apprentice seats.

Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 19.9.2018. Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the trades reserved for them.

Selection Process:

1) Selection process would consist of two stages i.e Written Test & Personal Interview.
2) Written test shall be of 85 marks and interview shall be of 15 marks.
3) Written Test shall be of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) consisting of 4 options with one correct option. Candidate has to choose the correct option.
4) There shall be 85 questions in the Written Test and Total marks shall be 85. Each correct answer shall carry 1 mark.
5) There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
6) In Technical trade, from the total 85 objective type questions, about 60 questions shall be from the concerned discipline of Diploma level and about 25 questions on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge etc. For the Trade Apprentice (Accountant), out of total 85 objective type questions, about 60 questions shall be from general accounts/commerce/finance and about 25 questions on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge etc. For the Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource), 85 objective type questions shall be on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge/awareness etc.
7) Duration of Written Test shall be of 120 minutes i.e. two hours.
8) Candidates can opt for the Question Paper/Test either in English or Hindi language.
9) The candidates will have to qualify each stage of the selection process i.e. Written Test and Personal Interview. Minimum qualifying marks in Written Test and Interview is 40% separately.

Selection Process:

The candidates will have to appear in the written test to be notified in due course. The written test for all the posts mentioned above may be conducted on the same date.

Written Test:

The written test shall contain 1 (one) paper of 100 marks as indicated below.

Question Pattern: Objective type with Multiple Choices

The candidates selected through written test will be called for

a) Document Verification for the post of AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer), Office cum Field Assistant and
b) Document verification / Physical Efficiency Test for the post of Sahayak.

The final selection list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test only. No TA or DA will be admissible for the journey in connection with written test/ Physical Efficiency Test.

The decision of the Selection Board/ Committee for the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admissible in the written test shall be final. Inclusion of a candidate's name in the final selection list will not confer him/her the right for appointment, unless the appointing authority is satisfied that the candidate is suitable for appointment in all respects.

Physical Efficiency Test:

Candidates for the post of Sahayak who fails to qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test, will not be considered for final appointment.

Practical Test:

In case of Light Vehicle Driver the candidates have to appear for a practical test in addition to a written examination which would be notified in due course.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is one of the most sought after entrance examination to pursue post-graduation in engineering disciplines. It is a national level entrance exam to offer admissions into M.Tech./Ph.D. courses in IITs , IISc, IISERs and other reputed institutions.

Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to: (i) Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and (ii) Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. Even in some colleges and institutions, which admit students without MHRD Scholarship/assistantship, the GATE qualification is mandatory. Further, many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process.

As mandated by Government, now Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) recruit engineers through  Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) only. GATE 2019:

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Examination Pattern:

National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS-2018-19) (CLASS-VIII)

Applications are invited from the eligible and Intending students studying In class VIII for National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS-2018-19).

About the Scheme (NMMSS):

Under this Scheme Scholarship is awarded to benefit the children of weaker sections of the society. The scholarship is paid to the students till they complete their studies up to class XII i.e. fora maximum period of 4 years @ Rs. 1000 /- (One Thousand) per month.

Terms & Conditions:

a) The students studying in Govt. & Provincialised Schools are only eligible for NMMS Examination.
b) The Parent's' Guardian's income should not exceed Rs.1.5 lacs per annum.
c) The students should have at least 55% marks in class VII. Selection Test for NMMSS A written examination will be held for selection of candidates under the NMMSS Scheme.


Assam Slate quota is 2411.
— 15% Scholarship will be reserved for students belonging SC category.
— 7.5% Scholarship will be reserved for students belonging SC category and
— 4% for Physically Challenged Group of Students.

Qualifying Marks:

Qualifying marks for candidates from General category Is 40% in each paper and for candidates from SC, ST, PH is 32% in each paper.

Application Form:

Students can submit application for NMMSS Examination both In OFFLINE and ONLINE node, For offline submission, application form can be collected from the office of the concerned Inspector of Schools during the office period i.e. from 10.00 am. to 5.00 p.m. within 20th September to 10th October, 2018. Examination Centre:

NMMSS Examination will be held at almost all the District Headquarters. However centre of examination may be increased or decreased by theauthatty depending upon the number of candidates for the Examination from the District.

Important Dates:

1. Last date for submission of application tor both OFFLINE & ONLINE is on 10th October/ 2018.
2. Date of Examination is on 4th November/2018. (Sunday)

Admit Card:

Admit Card for the candidate wit be available online. The candidate may download his/ her admit card by putting his/her application number or user name on or alter 20th October 2018. If any candidate fails to submit required information or deposit required fee, their application will be rejected and no admit card will issued against them.

Rate of Examination Fee:

Rs.150/- per student for General Category.
Rs.100/- per student for SC/ST Category

How to deposit fee:

For OFFLINE submission of application, the examination fee shall have to be deposited in the Bank NC given below and the original receipt of pay-in-slip must be enclosed with the application.

Name and style of current A/C "National Talent Search Examination" Account No.30294941517 Bank SBI, Kahilipara Branch. Application fee deposited/ sent by other way shall not be entertained.

In case of ONLINE submission of application, the candidates have to deposit tee in any SBI Branch by e-challan generated by ONLINE PORTAL Last date of submission of fees in Bank is 15th October, 2018.
