Assam CAT 2026
Assam Common Admission Test (CAT) is an entrance examination conducted by Gauhati University for admission to the LLB (3-Year) Programme in any Law College, whether Government or Private, affiliated to Gauhati University and the other Universities of Assam (except Dibrugarh University). No applicant shall be deemed eligible for admission to any such affiliated Law College without having applied for and appeared in the said entrance examination. Assam CAT 2026 will be held on 25th July 2026 across various examination centres.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam CAT
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from any recognized University with a minimum percentage of marks not below 45% of the total marks in case of UR/EWS category applicants, 42% of the total marks in case of OBC/MOBC category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC, ST(P), ST(H) category applicants.
