The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare (TTWD) is the implementing body of Tea Tribes Welfare and Adivasi Welfare Department. The Directorate implements variety of welfare schemes across a wide spectrum ranging from scholarships for school/ college going students, skills & entrepreneurship, start-up grants-in-aid for self-employment activities, grants-in-aid to women SHGs etc. 

 

Accordingly, TTWD every year invites applications from various stakeholders from Tea Tribes and Adivasi community for implementation of various scholarships as well as welfare schemes. In order to avoid the time-consuming paper-works, starting from the financial year 2020-21, the directorate has adopted an online application system which is called SIRISH portal.

Eligibility Criteria of TTWD Scholarship Assam

To be eligible for applying to various scholarship and welfare schemes of TTWD, Assam; candidates must fulfill the following conditions

Resident-ship: Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and must belong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.

Bank account: Candidates must possess a functional Aadhar seeded bank account.

Caste certificate: Candidates must possess a TGL/ EX-TGL caste certificate .

Family income: Candidates' family income should not be more than 5.00 lakh per annum. An undertaking must be submitted regarding this by the parent/ guardian as per format.

• Click on Online Application Form link .
• A new web page will be opened, click on "Don't have account ?? Register" button . Enter your basic details and click on register button  . 
• Again click on Online Application Form link and login .
• Once login, you will get a list of all available scholarship and schemes. Select, the applicable scheme.
• Enter all your personal and educational details as required .
• Upload all the documents as required and at the end click on submit button .
• Don't forget to take a print of submitted application form .

As of now, online applications are accepted only for first seven (7) welfare schemes.
