Central Bank of India has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 4500 Apprentice Posts under Apprentices Act, 1961 and as per Apprenticeship policy of the Bank. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Age must not below 20 years and Not above 28 years as on 31.05.2026 i.e. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 31.05.1998 and not later than 31.05.2006 (both days inclusive).
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

Educational Qualification: Must have a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government.
Local language proficiency: The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local/official languages of that State, as mentioned in the official notification.

Application/Examination/Intimation fee to be remitted by all eligible applicants to the scrutinizing/examining body deputed by the Bank is as under (GST @ 18% extra will be charged on application fee). Fee is to be paid through online mode.

Selection Process
The selection process of Apprentice posts under Central Bank of India consists of following two stages: MCQ type Online Examination and Test of Local Language.

Test of Local Language
The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test may not be engaged for apprentice. However, candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet having studied the specified opted local language of the State will not be required to undergo the language test.
