Age Limit: A candidate seeking admission to the ARS Examination-2025 must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01.08.2025.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline as prescribed in the advertisement completed on or before 30.09.2025 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).
2. Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) (T-6)
No of posts: 41
Age Limit: A candidate seeking admission to the SMS (T-6) and STO (T-6) Examination must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years on or before 21st May, 2025.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline as prescribed in the advertisement completed on or before 30.09.2025 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).
3. Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6)
No of posts: 83
Age Limit: A candidate seeking admission to the SMS (T-6) and STO (T-6) Examination must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years on or before 21 May, 2025.
Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline as prescribed in the advertisement completed on or before 30.09.2025 from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must have qualification from a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).
Age Relaxation: As per rules i.r.o. all three category of posts.
Application Fee: The category-wise application fee is as under. As the candidates can exercise their option for being considered either for NET only or ARS only or SMS only or STO only or any combination of the four, the application fee shall be paid by the candidates depending upon the option they exercised.
