Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2026. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online within 19th May 2026.
Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into 1st Semester Class of MCA Programme in the colleges of the State of Assam including Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat, etc.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam JMEE Examination
Citizenship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen. (With a valid PRC of Assam issued by the competent authority).
Character: The Candidate must possess a good moral character.
Age Limit: Age must be between 20 years to 26 years as on 1st July 2026.
Educational Qualification:
# Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
# A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category).

Final Year Students':
For candidates whose 6th Semester result is awaited, they must secure 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) marks till the 5th semester without backlog. Candidates will have to give an undertaking that he/she shall be able to produce the final Mark Sheet/ Certificate within 2(two) months of taking admission.
Application Fee of ASTU JMEE Exam
- An Application Fee of Rs. 2000/- (Two thousand only) is to be paid online by using SBI Collect which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
- Candidates must make successful online fee payment within the last date of submission of online applications. Otherwise his/her candidature will not be considered for examination. No communication regarding failure of payment, received after the last date of submission of online applications, will be entertained.

- At the end, take a print out of the application form .
