Tezpur University has released the official admission notification for admission into two-year B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) programme for the academic session 2026-27. This programme is conducted by Department of Education of the university. Entry in to this course is regulated by Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2026 for 70% seats and Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 for remaining 30% seats.

Entry Channel
50% of Seats will be filled from Science stream and the remaining 50% Seats will be filled from Arts and Commerce streams.
Additionally 70% seats will be filled through Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2026 and university will use Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 for remaining 30% seats.
Following CUET Subject Code and Paper will be used for entry in to this course.

Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility criteria to be eligible to get entry in to B. Ed course under Tezpur University is to posses a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (BA/BSc/BTech/BE) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
Relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade point will be allowed for reserved category candidates as per rules.

The payment of the application fee is to be made online using credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI. The transaction details may be printed and preserved for later references.
How to Apply for Tezpur University B.Ed Admission?
Depending up entry channels, interested and eligible candidates may apply online through TUEE or CUET Online Apply portal.
a) Candidates who want to get admitted through TUEE 2026 may apply online and appear in TUEE. Once TUEE 2026 results declared, he/ she may accordingly apply for admission through official TUEE portal.
i. All candidates must register and fill in the Admission cum Counselling Form (ACF) in online mode at https://www.tezu.ernet.in/adm26/
ii. While filling the online application form candidates must select a test centre as per their choice and must appear for the CBT( Computer Based Test) conducted by TUEE 2026 at their chosen test centre.
iii. The merit list of candidates will be created based on their scores in TUEE 2026, and candidates will be invited for admission and counselling accordingly.
b) Candidates who want to get admitted through CUET UG 2026, must appear for CUET . Once, CUET results declared, he/ she may accordingly apply for admission through official TUEE portal using respective CUET credentials.
i. Register for the CUET (UG) 2026 at NTA web portal available at [https://nta.ac.in] [https://cuet.samarth.ac.in] by following the guidelines provided there.
ii. Select Tezpur University from the list of universities and then select the desired programme(s) under Tezpur University.
iii. Select the correct test paper (General and domain subject) for the selected programme offered by Tezpur University and your preference for examination centres.
iv. Appear in the CUET (UG) 2026 examination in the selected test paper as per the schedule published by the NTA.
v. All candidates must register to Tezpur University Samarth Admission Portal https:// www.tezu.ernet.in/adm26/ and fill the form with their CUET (UG) details and upload all other required documents.
vi. The merit list of candidates will be prepared based on their scores in CUET (UG) 2026, and candidates will be invited for admission and counselling accordingly.
It may be noted that registration for CUET UG 2026 is already over; hence no new registration for CUET is possible as of now.

TUEE 2026 Details
For the academic session 2026-27, Tezpur University will conduct TUEE through “Computer Based Test (CBT)-Examination” in the examination centres in various cities of India. The duration of the online examination will be of two (02) hours.
Question paper will contain 50 multiple choice questions with four (4) alternative answers. Each question will carry 2 marks for correct answer, and 0.5 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

In Assam, Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2026 will be (tentatively) held at Barpeta Road, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Guwahati, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Mangaldai, Nagaon, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, and Tezpur centres. There are centres throughout the country.
