HS Result Rechecking 2026

Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division II declared the Assam HS Final Examination 2026 Result recently on 28th April 2026. Candidates who are not satisfied with their result/s may apply online at ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking Portal for re-totaling & reassessment of their answer scripts. The online "Punarikshan" process for Re-checking of Answer Scripts of Assam HS Final Exam Result 2026 will start from 1st May 2026.

Salient features of HS Answer Script Rechecking

Here is a number of important points regarding ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking 2026.

The candidate shall note that the Re-Checking of the Answer Script shall not mean Re-Evaluation of the Answer Scripts. Re-checking shall include the following points:

a. Re-totaling of marks awarded by the examiner.
b. Assessment of Answer(s) which has/have been left out unevaluated.
c. Correction of wrong entry of marks in any manner/nature.

The results of rechecking will be informed to the applicant through a notification within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application.

If candidate’s marks are reduced after re-checking of answer scripts that reduced marks will be considered as final marks and accordingly Certificate cum Marks-Sheets will be prepared.

In case of any change in Marks, the revised Certificate cum Marks-sheet will be issued on submission of the Original Certificate cum Marks-sheet in the Board's Office with intimation of the Head of the Institution. No such Certificate cum Marks-sheet will be sent directly to School, candidate or through any other agency.

The revised Certificate cum Marks-Sheet will not be issued if not collected within 30 days from the declaration of re-checking of results.

Scanned copy of Answer Script will be sent to the applied candidates through E-mail given by the candidate at the time of Application.

Application Fee of ASSEB Rechecking Form

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- per subject for the rechecking of answer scripts and obtaining a scanned copy of their answer scripts .

Processing fee has to be paid through online mode only.

Candidates who want to recheck his/her answer scripts have to apply online for rechecking of answer scripts by using below mentioned steps:

# Official online application portal "Punorikshan" will be opened .

# First register yourself using your Roll, Number and Mobile Number.

# Next, Log-in using newly generated username and password .

# Fill all personal details including Roll No and subject details.

# Make payment of application fee via online.

# At the end, submit your application.
