Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Age of the candidates should be between 35 to 62 years as on 01/01/2026; Age proof certificate to be submitted.
Educational Qualification: The candidates shall have a degree in child psychology or psychiatry or law or social work or sociology or human health or education or human development or special education for differently abled children or is a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology or psychiatry or law or social work or sociology or human health or education or human development or special education for differently abled children. Preference will be given to the Post Graduate degree holders in the mentioned subject.
Experience: Candidates is to be actively involved in health, education or welfare activities pertaining to children for seven (7) years.

- Candidates must apply in the prescribed Format along with all testimonials (admit, certificate and marksheet and experience certificate from HSLC to MA / Post graduation).
- Applications, complete in all respects, must be submit latest by 10th July, 2026 during office hours in the office of the District Child Protection Officer of the district concerned.
- Applications, received in the respective districts shall be scrutinized by the District Level Scrutiny Committee (DLSC) by 25th July, 2026 and a panel of shortlisted candidates shall be prepared in the ratio of 1:3.
- Thereafter, it will be placed before the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC), constituted under Rule 87 of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Model Rules, 2022 for final Viva and selection. The State Level Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any application or recommendations made by the DLSC as and when required.
