Educational Qualification and Experience: Candidates must possess the educational qualification of class— VIII standard.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 44 years of age on the 1st day of January 2019. There will be 5 years relaxation in age for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe (Plain & Hills) candidates and 3 years relaxation for OBC/MOBC candidates.
Pay: Pay Band Rs.12000/- to Rs.37500/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3900/ - p.m. plus other allowances
How to apply: Application in part IX of Assam Gazette signed by the candidate including attested copies certificate/testimonials in regarding educational qualification age etc including experience if any, 2(two) copies of recent passport size photograph signed by the candidate, and one self addressed stamped envelope (size 27cm x 13cm) should reached Director, Science & Technology. Assam. Candidate should write on the top of the envelope as 'APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CHOWKIDAR'.
Applicants those who are already employed should submit their applications through their authorities within stipulated date. Candidate will have to appear In a written test the date of which will be intimated in due course. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify a candidate.
