The Assam State Level EMRS Society has published two employment notifications for the recruitment of 28 TGT and PGT Guest Teacher Posts at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in various districts of Assam. Interested and eligible candidates may apply here.

1. TGT
No of Posts: 20 Posts
District wise vacancy:
EMRS, Boko, Kamrup: 06
EMRS, Phuloni, Karbi Anglong: 06
EMRS, Ardaopur, Dima Hasao: 01
EMRS, Howraghat, Karbi Anglong: 01
EMRS, Dalbari, Baksa: 06
Pay:
- With qualifications as per Recruitment Rules of NESTS: Rs. 33,000/- per month
- Without qualifications as per Recruitment Rules of NESTS: Rs. 29,000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognised university/autonomous institute approved by NCTE.
- Must have qualified CTET/STET.
- Proficiency in teaching in the English medium.

District wise vacancy:
- EMRS, Dalbari, Baksa: 08
- With qualifications as per Recruitment Rules of NESTS: Rs. 35,000/- per month
- Without qualifications as per Recruitment Rules of NESTS: Rs. 31,000/- per month
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject.
- For PGT Commerce, the candidate must have studied Accountancy and Business Studies in Graduation Level.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognised university/autonomous institute approved by NCTE.
- Must have qualified CTET/STET.
- Proficiency in teaching in the English medium.
Age Limit
A candidate must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 55 years as on 01.04.2026. Retired teachers from any State Government / KVS/NVS/recognised, reputed CBSE schools may also apply for the Guest Teachers. The maximum age limit for retired teachers shall be 62 years.
How to Apply for Assam State Level EMRS Society Recruitment ?
- The candidates will submit their applications at the respective District Commissioner’s office of the concerned EMRS.
- The interview for engagement of Guest Teacher will be conducted at the District Level for the concerned EMRS of the District.
- The District Level Committee will be constituted comprising the following members:
- District Commissioner or nominee as Chairman.
- One educationist as a Member.
- Subject Expert as Member.
- Principal of EMRS as Member Secretary / Inspector of School as Member Secretary where there is no Principal.
- The District Level Committee will draw a panel of Guest Teachers for an academic year only.
- The District Level Committee will submit the list of selected Guest Teachers to the Assam State Level EMRS Society for final approval.

- Date of scrutiny of applications: 20th, 21st and 22nd May 2026
- Date of interview: 25th, 26th and 27th May 2026
