CBSE Board Exams From May 4, Results by July 15

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has announced that CBSE Board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will begin on May 4 and will continue till June 10, 2021. The results will be announced by July 15, said the education minister . 

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the government has deferred the dates for CBSE board examinations which are usually held in February or March are now being held in May.

Earlier, issuing a statement, the board had said, “The exams as and when they are being conducted, will be in the written mode and not in an online mode. The exams will be conducted following all Covid protocols.” 

CBSE in its notification said the datesheet of “both class 10 and 12 will be issued soon”. “CBSE will also inform all the stakeholders about information related to examination from time to time. Information will be made available on CBSE website. Information available on any other platform including social media should not be treated as correct, if not available on Boards’ website,” it said.

The minister said that the CBSE board examination will be held in adherence to Covid-19 protocols.
