The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an entrance or qualifying test for admission into various undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions of India. National Testing Agency of India already conducted the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test NEET (UG), 2026 re-examination on 21st June 2026. This re-test was necessitated after the initial May 3, 2026 examination was cancelled.

# The National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2026 for more than 20 lakh candidates at 566 different Centres located in 552 Cities throughout the country and 14 Cities outside India on 21st June 2026 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:15 P.M.(IST). The result of the NEET (UG) – 2026 has been declared within 16th July 2026 itself.
# The Examination was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). The examination was also conducted in 14 cities outside the country, viz., Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait City, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Singapore.
# The Result of NEET (UG) - 2026 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data will also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms / applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules.
