Assam Administrative Staff College has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 2 Instructional Designer Lead and Learning Designer posts in the Digital Learning Lab (DLL) set-up at Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC) under Mission Karmayogi Assam, supported by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India (GOI)- Augmentation of Capacity of Training Institutions Scheme (ACTT) scheme for a period of one year.

AASC Guwahati Recruitment Details
1. Lead Instructional Designer
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration: Rs. 1.8 Lakhs per month (as specified by DoPT)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communication Design, Management, Social Work, Social Sciences, Mass Communication, Media Technology, Media Management, Engineering or any other relevant or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in instructional design, content structuring, and storyboard development for e-learning programmes.
- Proven experience in developing competency-based learning modules, preferably in government or public sector environments.
- Expertise in instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, or equivalent approaches.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and competency-based learning systems.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Familiarity with multimedia production workflows, digital content authoring systems, and audio-visual learning technologies.
- Experience coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), departments, and learning content teams.
2. Learning Designer

Remuneration: Rs. 1.2 Lakhs per month (as specified by DoPT)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communication Design, Management, Social Work, Social Sciences, Engineering, Graphic Design, Media Management, Media Technology, Mass Communication or relevant or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and developing digital learning experiences.
- Expertise in UX/UI design for e-learning systems and digital learning platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Captivate, Canva, Articulate Storyline, Rise, H5P, or equivalent authoring tools.
- Experience in multimedia development including graphic design, video editing, audio editing, animation, and interactive content development.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, learner-centric design principles, and mobile-first learning design.).
