Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL) and Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) works to transform the Educational System in India with an aim to create a generation of Education Leaders who are equipped with skills to create large-scale, systemic impact. It is looking for eligible candidates for the following positions in Assam.

1. Program Leader
No of posts:
8 Nos

Job Location: Assam. (Preferably candidates who are willing to base in Bongaigaon, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Silchar)     

Educational Qualification: Post-graduate/Graduate in preferably Rural Management/ Social Work/ Development Studies/Education/ Social Sciences (Anyone with relevant knowledge and experience is highly encouraged to apply irrespective of his/her educational background)

Language Proficiency:
 Proficiency in written and oral communication skills in Hindi and English. Proficiency in local language will be highly preferred.

Experience:
  • 2-7 years of experience in Development/Education/ Corporate Sector with experience of designing training programs.
  • Experience in Leadership Development, Change Management, workshop designing, facilitations will be preferred.
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic approach to addressing issues of social change
  • Experience in training; teaching; working with government; change management/leadership development
  • Effective mentoring, coaching and motivational skills
  • Confident communicator, able to dialogue professionally and diplomatically on complex issues with professionals and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Skilled at building strong relationships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to self-motivate, work independently, flexibly and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to think analytically and discern patterns in data to understand key insights.
  • Should be a Tech savvy – usage of Tablet is must.
  • Strong written, presentation and interpersonal ability
  • Strong commitment to ongoing personal development.
Preferred Skills:
a) Experience of working in ‘Operations’ in development sector, preferably with the Government School/Education Department system, Government departments like – DIET, RSCERT & SIEMET
b) Reasonable good understanding of Education Sector.
c) Ability to convert strategic direction into objectives and plans.
d) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Travel: Up to 15-20 days per month travel to government Offices & work locations will be required.

2. Program Manager

  • Operations management, engagement with government departments, consultancy

Founded in 2008, starting Projects with 50 Principals and 11 Fellows, PFEL/KEF has progressed and grown under the leadership of a dynamic team with rich and diverse experience in Education and Leadership with projects that are currently being implemented in over 1400 schools in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Maharashtra with more than 300 fellows, impacting more than 1,50,000 children in India. PFEL is involved mainly in the projects in Rajasthan, and KEF is involved in the projects in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and Haryana.

PFEL/KEF’s is impacting learning outcomes through the Principal Leadership Development Program (PLDP), the District Transformation Program, and the Gandhi Fellowship Program.

KEF/PFEL is aiming to transform the learning outcomes across the state in collaboration with govt of Gujarat.

The State Transformation Program (STP) primarily focuses on improving the state’s way of functioning to improve the quality of elementary education of a state by building accountability by focusing on learning outcomes, improving organization behavior by establishing a culture of collaboration and re- engineering processes by introducing robust information system and revamping people selection and its development process.
