APDCL Syllabus 2019 – Selection Process, Guide Books & Question Paper

APDCL Syllabus

 
As you all are aware of that APDCL, AEGCL & APGCL have invited applications for the recruitment of 1950+ posts. These posts include  AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer), Office cum Field Assistant, Light Vehicle Driver and Sahayak.


The application process is being currently on hold due to some technical reason as indicated by the competent authority to be reopen from 1st October 2018. The last date of online application is 31st October 2018. For details about this recruitment visit the following link:

Today, in this article, we will discuss about how to prepare for this recruitment by APDCL, AEGCL & APGCL. We will elaborate here about :

APDCL Syllabus and Selection Process

The candidates will have to appear in the written test to be notified in due course. The written test for all the posts mentioned above may be conducted on the same date.

Written Test:

The written test shall contain 1 (one) paper of 100 marks as indicated below.

Total Marks: 100
Time: 2 Hours
Question Pattern: Objective type with Multiple Choices


The candidates selected through written test will be called for

a) Document Verification for the post of AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer), Office cum Field Assistant and
b) Document verification / Physical Efficiency Test for the post of Sahayak.

The final selection list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test only. No TA or DA will be admissible for the journey in connection with written test/ Physical Efficiency Test.

The decision of the Selection Board/ Committee for the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admissible in the written test shall be final. Inclusion of a candidate's name in the final selection list will not confer him/her the right for appointment, unless the appointing authority is satisfied that the candidate is suitable for appointment in all respects.

Physical Efficiency Test:

Candidates for the post of Sahayak who fails to qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test, will not be considered for final appointment.

Practical Test:

In case of Light Vehicle Driver the candidates have to appear for a practical test in addition to a written examination which would be notified in due course.
 

APDCL Syllabus 2019

AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer):

a) Part-A:
General English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude, Basic Computer knowledge & General Mathematics of Class-X standard. [50 marks]
b) Part-B: Accountancy/Statistics/Mathematics of degree level. [50 marks]

Office cum Field Assistant:


General English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude, Basic Computer knowledge & General Mathematics of Class-X standard. [100 marks]

Light Vehicle Driver:


a) Part-A: General English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude, General Mathematics of Class-X standard. [50 marks]
b) Part-B: Matters related to driving. [50 marks]

Sahayak:


a) Part-A: General English, General Knowledge, General Aptitude & General Mathematics of Class-X standard. [50 marks]
b) Part-B: Core ITI Subjects/ trades (Electrician/Wireman/Welder/Fitter/Machinist). [50 marks]

Other Important Points:


a) The questions will be of Objective type with multiple choices.
b) Each question will carry 1 (one) mark for correct answer.
c) There will be negative marking of 0.25 (one fourth) marks for wrong answer against each
question.

d) Calculator, Mobile phone and any other electronic gadgets will not be allowed inside the
examination hall.

APDCL Exam Strategy


There is no specific syllabus (subject specific) in competitive examinations. I refer you one book each for all the subjects. Go and get them from nearby shop or any online portal. Try to understand theory part and solve as many problems as possible. You will definitely get sure success.

However, if you check previous years' papers, you may find some specific topics get more weightage than the others. So, in such case/s, give more stress on these topics.
