Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), Guwahati has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 2 District Project Officer (DPO) posts in District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMA) in Bajali and Tamulpur under the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) on contract basis.

Vacancy details:
Remuneration: Rs. 72336/- per month (Consolidated)
Age Limit: Candidates should not be below 21 years and above 43 years as on 1st January 2026.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience as a full time paid employee in an organization of repute dealing with Disaster Management in Govt./Semi-Govt./ Public sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Body.
Computer Proficiency: Must have proficiency in Computer Application especially MS-WORD/MS- EXCEL/ PowerPoint/ use of Internet, etc.
Communication Skills: Should have excellent communication skill in English and Assamese (Bodo language in case of Tamulpur posting will be preferable).
Other Criteria
Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and should be a permanent resident of Assam.
Fitness: The candidate should be physically and mentally fit to work in disaster situations.
