APSC, Assam Recruitment 2018 - Conservation Officer

Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.

Grade-II (Gazetted) under Directorate of  Archaeology Assam.
No of posts : 1 (one) no.

Pay Band-3, Rs. 22,000/- to 87,000/-  Grade Pay- RS. 9100/-
Age: 21 years to 43 years as on 01/01/2017 as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04 dated  03-03-2016. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST .

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Desirable Experience: Experience in archaeological preservation work or training in archaeological conservation works in a Govt. recognized institution. Experience certificate from competent authority should be submitted.

How to apply: The name of the post applied for should be clearly written in “bold letters” in the Envelope containing the application form and it should be addressed to the Under Secretary, APSC. Application form may be obtained by downloading the same from the APSC’s website www.apsc.nic.in. The last date of receiving duly filled up application form in the Commission’s office is fixed on 19/01/2018 during office hours.
