IOCL, Guwahati Refinery Results 2018: Trade Apprentice/ Technician Apprentice [Interview Notice]

Based on the performance in the Written Test held on 18.11.2018, candidates bearing the following roll nos. have been provisionally shortlisted for appearing in the Personal Interview for engagement as Apprentice at IOCL (Guwahati Refinery) in accordance with our Advertisement No. GR/P/App/18.

Accordingly, all shortlisted candidates are advised to appear for the Personal Interview as per scheduled date, reporting time and venue given below:

Important Points:

1. The candidates should appear for the Personal Interview strictly as per the schedule mentioned above.
2. The candidature of all the shortlisted candidates are provisional and subject to their meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria as notified vide our advertisement. In case, any of the candidates do not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, they are requested not to appear for the Personal Interview.
3. The candidature of any candidate is liable to be cancelled if at any stage it is found that he/she does not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.
4. Merely getting shortlisted for the Personal Interview does not confer any right for engagement.
5. Candidates are advised to bring all original certificates /Mark Sheets as well as self attested copies, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the Personal Interview.
6. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC(NCL) / PwBD shall be required to produce their caste / disability certificate issued by the Competent Authority specified by the Govt. of India (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment). The name of caste / community to which the candidate belongs must appear in the Presidential Order / Gazette Notification issued by Govt. of India.
7. For claiming the benefit of OBC category, the candidate should submit a latest caste certificate in the proforma prescribed by Govt. Of India, which would, among others, specifically mention that the candidate does not belong to the persons/sections (Creamy layer) as mentioned in column 3 of the schedule to the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India OM No. 36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT) dated 08.09.1993. Candidates belonging to OBC category but falling in creamy layer are not entitled to OBC reservation benefits. Accordingly such candidates may choose to apply for the positions provided they meet the age criteria applicable to UR Candidates and indicate their category as 'UR'. Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Guwahati Refinery) being a Central Public Sector Undertaking, only those communities that are mentioned in the common list of OBC approved by Central Government shall be treated as OBC for the purpose of reservation.
8. SC/ST/PwBD candidates appearing for interview will be reimbursed single second class railway fare from the nearest railway station of the mailing address to the place of test/interview and back by the shortest route on production of ticket, provided the distance is not less than 30 KMs.
