Karmodhara Assam Talent Search Examination (KATSE) is a state-level scholarship program in Assam to identify and recognize students with high intellect and academic talent. 
The aim of KATSE Examination is to identify the extraordinary students to encourage them through Cash Prize and Certificates and other incentives. KATSE Examination is conduct by Asom Karmodhara Somity, a Kampur based Social Association, whose allied activities are Social welfare, Employment generations, Spread modern education, Income Generations Program, Computer literacy program, Agriculture Development Program etc. 

The main purpose of KATSE Examination is to introduce the students of Assam with the real time job-oriented examination patterns of India. As of now, the entire job-oriented examination is made of four parts, as General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Resoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language.

Eligibility: Students from Class III to Graduation, anyone can apply and appear at the examination. Graduation means 10+2+3 pattern. 

Examination Patterns: Group wise examination will be conduct. Groups are:
GROUP A (Class III to V);
GROUP B (Class VI to VIII); 
GROUP C (Class IX to XI); 
GROUP D (Class XII to Graduation passed students).

Examination fees: For Group A: Rs. 30; Group B: Rs. 50; Group C: Rs. 80; Group D: Rs.100 (Rs. 20 extra for each group, if performance report is required)

Medium of Examination: English / Assamese Language for Group A, B and C, and Only English Language for Group D.

Last Date of Apply: 7 th September 2013 (Saturday)
Admit Card Issue Date: After 23rd September 2013 (Monday)
Date & Time of Examination: 29 th September 2013 (Sunday), 
Duration: 90 Minutes
Date of Result Declaration: 22nd November 2013 (Friday)
Date of Certificates Issue: In-between 2nd December to 30th December 2013.
